Glasson Golf Club
Glasson Golf Course was designed by Christy O'Connor Jnr in 1993, Glasson has established an international reputation as one of Ireland's premier parkland courses – has hosted two Televised European Challenge Tour Tournaments in the past as well any many National events. The range of Tees allow for the ‘4’ and the ‘24’ Handicapper to enjoy the experience.
The panoramic views over Lough Ree, from every hole on the Course, live long in the memory. The on-site Glasson Lakehouse Hotel and the Golf Academy and Driving Range make for an experience that caters for Golfers and Non-Golfers alike.
The central location of Glasson (just over an hour from Dublin and less than an hour from Galway) make it an ideal ‘neutral’ spot for Groups to meet up and makes Glasson a popular venue for Family events / outings as well as for Golf Societies and Corporate Days. Having our own Private Jetty also means that you can actually arrive at Glasson by Boat, whilst there is also the option of pre-arranging a Private Cruise on Lough Ree – possibly up the River Shannon to Sean’s Bar, the Oldest Bar in Ireland?!
