Áras an Mhuilinn - Irish Cultural Centre
Áras an Mhuilinn is the Regional Resource Centre for the counties of Westmeath, Longford, Offaly and Laois. The Centre, recently established by Comhaltas Ceoltóiri Éireann and Meitheal Lártíre, is a state-of-the-art cultural facility in which Traditional music, dance and Irish language classes are run on a weekly basis. The facilities here are available to all community groups and to the public in general.
The new centre - Áras an Mhuilinn - will also incorporate a display area for the sale of CD’s of traditional music, books and other items representing traditional culture. Why not come along and have an cupán tae, read a magazine or listen to some traditional music during your visit.
