Mullingar Arts Centre
Mullingar Arts Centre opened its doors to the public on 1st January, 1999. The Arts Centre is contained in the totally re-furbished County Hall, which was originally built in 1913 on the site of the old Gaol. It is reported that ghosts of executed prisoners still walk the basements!
The Arts Centre is comprised of a state of the art, 407 seat Theatre, incorporating re-tractable seating and two art workshops. The workshops cater for all art forms.
The Theatre caters for all event types and is suitable for conferences/seminars.
We have a licenced Theatre Bar and full catering facilities. The Arts Centre is fully wheelchair accessible, with door ramp and lift.
