Temporary Closure of Milltownpass Bog & Woodland Trail from Monday 2nd September for works on woodland trail
This 1.2km trail is located 1 km north-east of Milltownpass and is a wonderful new leisure amenity that facilitates access and appreciation of the abundance of nature & biodiversity of Ireland's bogs.
Wildlife sculptures along the trail celebrate and tell the story of the flora and fauna that can be found on our native peatlands. You will find bat and bird nesting boxes along the trail and seating is provided for you to pause and soak in the tranquility of your surroundings.
